Meet the Team
We're excited to announce that the Lynch Center for Learning is expanding! Joining Sinead, we have two talented teachers, Marybeth and Kelly, who will be providing tutoring services. Together, our team is dedicated to supporting students on their educational journey. Welcome Marybeth and Kelly!

Sinead Lynch
Owner of Lynch Center for Learning
Sinead graduated from Saint Mary's College, Notre dame with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in special education.

She earned her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Literacy at Lesley University, Cambridge MA.
Sinead holds a teaching license in both general education and special education.
She started her teaching career in Boston, Massachusetts as a 1st grade teacher. She then transitioned to teaching 2nd grade for over 10 years.

She moved to Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey in 2021 from Boston, Massachusetts. The first year and a half she lived in New Jersey, she worked as a 2nd grade teacher in Westwood Public School District. She stopped teaching in November of 2022 for her maternity leave and decided not to return to the classroom to fulfill her dream of starting my own tutoring business.
Sinead is married to her husband, Chris Lynch. Chris and Sinead have 2 children, Audrey and Preston. She also has a 100 pound bernedoodle named Tucker! Tucker is the unofficial mascot for Lynch Center for Learning!
Sinead truly love elementary education and has a lot of experience tutoring in addition to being a classroom teacher.
Her goal is for this to be a space where students receive the individualized support they need to grow their knowledge and confidence.

Mary Beth Alepa
Orton Gillingham Tutor for Lynch Center for Learning
Mary Beth Alepa graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is a certified IMSE Orton-Gillingham Instructor as well as a certified Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Interventionist. Mary Beth has 22 years of teaching experience. She has taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and ESL in New Jersey, Georgia, and Florida. Mary Beth currently works as an Academic Support Instructor for grades K-5 in the areas of ELA and math. In 2024, she was honored with the NJ Governor's Educator of the Year Award. Her role is to support students to be successful in the mainstream classroom.
Her mission as an educator is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth for all children. She provides this by implementing techniques that benefit multiple forms of intelligence which enables each child to work to their fullest potential.
Mary Beth is a devoted mom to her three children and her dog. During her free time she loves to get outdoors and enjoy nature, whether it's going for a walk in the neighborhood or going for a hike with family or friends. In her downtime, she listens to educational podcasts, always eager to learn something new and bring fresh ideas back to the classroom.

Kelly Richter
Tutor for Lynch Center for Learning
​Kelly Richter is currently a 3rd grade teacher. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Saint Joseph’s University and received her master’s degree in Teaching and Learning from Capella University.
​
She has been teaching for six years and has had the opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 5th grade. She began her teaching journey student teaching in 2nd grade in Pennsylvania before moving back to New Jersey, where she has taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. She has also served as an intervention teacher, supporting students in kindergarten through 4th grade.

Teaching has always been Kelly's passion and she feels grateful for the chance to help students grow and learn!
